I am an independent writer, ghost writer and editor with more than 25 years’ experience in digital and print publishing. After spending years at start-up publications and publishing companies, I decided to go freelance 15  years ago. In that time, I have honed my expertise working for a variety of companies and publications, both digital and traditional.

I’ve covered a range of topics and issues throughout my career, but mCristina headshotost recently I have focused on business in all its forms: personal finance, women and money, wealth management, financial services and more. Occasionally, I cover something offbeat, funky or unusual (in a good way). Those stories and projects are like dessert — deliciously sweet, but only on occasion. Please take a look at some of my work here.

The other hat I wear is that of book editor and manuscript consultant. Even though it makes sense given my work and educational background, I fell into that aspect of publishing by accident. After the latest economic meltdown, much of my work dried up so I reached out to my network for help. Fortunately, a publisher friend needed someone with editorial and writing chops – and I was available. It was a perfect match, and  I’ve been loving it ever since.

I provide turnkey editorial project management, development and concepting, writing and ghost writing, substantive and copy editing services for my own clients and for independent publishers. If you have a story to tell, I can help you craft it. Or I can write it for you. I have plenty of happy clients to recommend me and my services. Most recently, I wrote a memoir for a former fashion designer: Copycat: A fabulous (and slightly naughty) memoir of a life in fashion. You’ll find a few more titles I’ve edited and developed here.
